Great atmosphere and great service! This was our first time here, as we don't come to Jersey often, so the complimentary bread and salad was very nice and unexpected! Coconut shrimp appetizer was delicious, but you only get 4 shrimp, which … More

Fork could not penetrate steak. Seafood combo was OK, but better elsewhere. The best part was delicious red potato side dish. We were told that the wait was 45 minutes to 1 hour. At 1 1/2 hours later, we had to press for table, as others did. We will not go back. More

Beautiful views of the water. The food was decent but had to send back our steak due to it being a little too over cooked, they took care of it quickly though. Appetizers and drinks were the star of the show. More

The sauce was clearly homemade and delicious as was the salad. The entrees were just ok. Anastasia our server was absolutely the best ever. She’s a credit to your establishment. Bubbly and fun.

Excellent service and food! Nick was our server and he was fast and very attentive. We had no wait but also got there around 4pm. I ordered the Maryland style crab cakes and my husband ordered the 12oz Sirloin. The steak was cooked perfectly and my husband hates seafood and was skeptical of ordering a steak from a seafood restaurant. My crabcakes were awesome, I would've preferred the lump meat over shredded but it tasted so good and had more meat than breading and I will definitely be back for more. It's pricey, but average for a tourist place and you get full! Salad and bread to start then your entrée and 2 sides.

As a repeat customer, I still give this restaurant 5 stars. The food is great, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is great also. I do suggest getting there early as it does get busy real quick. The early bird menu has just as quality items as the entre menu. Plenty of options on the kids menu also, including flounder which is rare to find.
The restaurant has a few different seating areas. One is out on the covered deck in the back, plenty of shade and fresh air with views of the marina. Another seating area is inside with views through the deck. Then there is the bar area which is outside and covered for plenty of shade. I will dine here again.
EARLIER REVIEW FROM AUGUST 2020
Get there early, the wait times get longer as time goes on. The night before we came here, the wait was 1 hour at 7:00pm. The next night, we made sure we got there a few minutes before opening and got right in. The food is amazing! The atmosphere is nice, and it's got nice views of the marina. The wait staff is on top of their game also.

A beautiful location and a view to see but for the restaurant it's not the same thing.
First of all yes it's accessible for the wheelchair and stroller but for some reason with my stroller, we was on the second floor.
The service is ok but not more, there was some errors with the plates we ordered, like not the right sides with the plates.
The salad and the bread are good, we had enough for everybody. I think that the oil must be change, everything fried was almost brown burn, the taste was not great. The plates are expensive and when you pay that price you expect something better. If you take something like a salad, it was good but nothong is fried. I had a good cesar salad with grilled chicken.
The view on the balcony is awesome on the sunset.

After seeing a crowd when driving by we decided to go for dinner at the Boathouse. We were given the choice to be seated in the dinning area or at the patio / bar area. We choose the patio and were given a table on the marina side. The table was clean and the plastic patio chairs were comfortable enough. They offer a good selection of drinks and they are reasonably priced. The half shell clams were decent but a bit gritty, not the best but enjoyable. The sea food pasta was very large, highly recommend. The crab cake was very creamy and refined, not chunks of crab but tasted okay. Perhaps if ordered I would recommended the fried version and not broiled. The tile fish was generous in portion and was alright in taste. The breaded shrimp and scallops was good and similar to other dishes at other restaurants that serve it. Servers were friendly and attentive, some were new too. The price was a bit high for the venue and food served - I hope it gets better. The location is good and it has the potential to offer a better experience.
EDIT: The alcohol prices (beer, wine, mix drinks) are not listed on the menu! Be sure to ask. It was reasonably priced though but if listed it would be transparent.
Salas and bread is served family style but only provided after you order entrees. If you going to provide a better dining experience at these prices, reconsider this policy.
Seagulls will snatch food from unoccupied tables. We saw it happen when service did clean up a table quickly. Entertaining but again, not sure this is what this venue is going for? I can get the same entertainment at a park.
If it wasn't for the kind service at our table, it would have been two stars.
